Nudgee College's comprehensive co-curricular Music Program offers students many exciting opportunities to learn and perform. With a variety of ensembles to join, there is a place for every musician. Multiple performance opportunities throughout the year, including College events, local festivals and even overseas tours, ensure boys are able to develop their talent and thrive on stage.

Year 5 Music Program

A compulsory part of the Year 5 Classroom Music Program at Nudgee College, all students in this year group will learn an orchestral instrument or voice from scratch, taking part in a beginner classroom band or orchestra. Through actively learning a musical instrument with an instrumental tutor and playing it together as an ensemble, the boys will learn about music in a very practical way. This includes music theory, concepts and notation. Please note that this immersion program is part of the curriculum, so there are also no additional cost for participation in 2024.
